• 24th February 2003 : A DeFINE plenary meeting took place in Paris. The slides will soon be made available online ( restricted access only).

• 27-29th January 2003 : Both DeSIRE and DeFINE Steering Committees took place separately at LAAS in Toulouse. Information about the content of these meetings has been made available online ( restricted access only).

• 18 December 2002 : a joint Steering Commitee of DeSIRE and DeFINE took place in Paris at Charles de Gaulle Airport.

• 10 December 2002 : The materials gathered in Pisa following the Workshop's presentations are now available online at : http://www.laas.fr/DeSIRE&DeFINE/welcome_to_the_pisa_pages.html

• 11 November 2002: The web-site giving details of the Pisa meeting is now available at:
  http://bonda.cnuce.cnr.it/meeting/index.htm.

• 2 November 2002: As envisaged we will be holding a joint open workshop on DeSIRE and DeFINE, in Pisa on 25-27 November. The IP meeting will start at 11.00 on 25 November, and continue until lunchtime on 26 November. There will be a general overview talk after lunch, followed by the NoE meeting, which will end with lunch at 13.30 on 27 November. We plan to arrange workshop dinners, with speakers, on both 25 and 26 November.
  The workshop is to be held at Area della Ricerca of CNR - details of suitable hotels will be made available shortly.
  

• 31 October 2002: Nearly one hundred Expressions of Intent have been received, involving some 220 organizations in total
